ANTISTATIC TREATMENT IN CLEAN ROOM

1. Static electricity hazards exist on many occasions in indoor environment of clean room workshop, which can lead to damage or performance degradation of electronic devices, electronic instruments and electronic equipment, or cause the human body to suffer electric shock injuries, or lead to ignition in explosion and fire hazardous places, detonate, or cause dust adsorption to affect environmental cleanliness. Therefore, great attention should be paid to anti-static environment in clean room design.

2. The use of anti-static floor materials with static conductive properties is a basic requirement for anti-static environmental design. At present, domestically produced anti-static materials and products include long-acting, short-acting and medium-acting types. The long-acting type must maintain static dissipation performance for a long time, and its time limit is more than ten years, while the short-acting type electrostatic dissipation performance is maintained within three years, and those that are between more than three years and less than ten years are medium-efficiency types. Clean rooms are generally permanent buildings. Therefore, the anti-static floor should be made of materials with stable static dissipation properties for a long time.

3. Since clean rooms for various purposes have different requirements for anti-static control, engineering practice shows that anti-static grounding measures are currently adopted for the purification air-conditioning systems in some clean rooms. The purification air conditioning system does not adopt this measure.

4. For production equipment (including anti-static safety workbench) that may generate static electricity in clean room and pipelines with flowing liquids, gases or powders that are likely to generate static electricity, anti-static grounding measures should be taken to conduct static electricity away. When these equipment and pipelines are in explosion and fire hazard environments, the connection and installation requirements for equipment and pipelines are more stringent to prevent serious disasters.

5. In order to solve the mutual relationship between various grounding systems, the design of the grounding system must be based on the design of the lightning protection grounding system. Since various functional grounding systems adopt comprehensive grounding methods in most cases, the lightning protection grounding system must be considered first, so that other functional grounding systems should be included in the protection scope of the lightning protection grounding system. Clean room lightning protection grounding system involves the safe operation of the clean room after construction.
