CHARACTERISTICS AND REQUIREMENTS OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IN CLEAN ROOM

1. The filtration system for purification air conditioners is extremely powerful.

The main purpose of the cleanroom workshop is to control air pollution. The cleanroom workshop must reduce the amount of dust in air to a minimum or even achieve a dust-free effect. This requires the purification air conditioner to be equipped with a good filtration system. Moreover, the performance of the filter is also related to the effect of controlling dust and microorganisms in production workshop. Therefore, the quality requirements for air filters in purification air conditioning are relatively high. Clean room needs to be equipped with three levels of filtration, which are primary and medium filters for the air handling unit and hepa filters at air supply end.

2. The purification air conditioning system has high temperature and humidity accuracy.

The comfort requirements of ordinary air conditioners generally have limited accuracy. However, in order to meet the process requirements, the air handling unit in cleanroom workshop have to deal with different temperature and humidity differences. The temperature and humidity accuracy requirements of the purification system air handling units are very high. It is necessary to ensure constant temperature and humidity in clean room. Moreover, air handling unit also needs to have the functions of cooling, heating, humidification and dehumidification, and must be precisely controlled.

3. The air conditioning system of the clean room has large air volume.

The most important function of clean room is to filter bacteria and dust in air, strictly control particles in air, and purify the air quality to meet clean room standards. The primary feature of the air conditioning system in clean room is that the air volume must be large enough to ensure the cleanliness of the cleanroom workshop. The air volume of the air handling unit is mainly set based on the number of air changes. Generally speaking, clean rooms with unidirectional flow have more air changes.

4. Strictly control positive and negative pressure.

All cleanroom production workshops must strictly prevent the spread of dust and bacteria. In order to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria, the positive and negative pressures in clean room must be controlled. Generally, cleanroom workshops adopt positive pressure maintenance and negative pressure control. Negative pressure can effectively deal with toxic gases, flammable and explosive items and solvents. The accuracy of the pressure difference control value is generally related to air leakage rate. It is generally believed that a lower air leakage rate makes it easier to control the accuracy.

5. The air pressure head of the fan in purification air conditioning system should be high.

Generally speaking, cleanroom workshop air-conditioning systems use different levels of filters, which are mainly divided into three types: primary, intermediate and high-level. The resistance of these three-stage filters is basically 700-800 Pa. Therefore, clean rooms generally use two methods: concentration and return air. In order to strictly control the regulation of positive and negative pressure in clean room, the resistance of the air conditioning ducts in clean room is generally relatively large. To overcome the resistance factor, the pressure head of the blower in air handling unit must be high enough.
