FIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF MODULAR OPERATION ROOM

Modern medicine has increasingly stricter requirements for the environment and hygiene. In order to ensure the comfort and health of the environment and the aseptic operation of the surgery, medical hospitals need to build operation rooms. The operation room is a comprehensive entity with many functions and is now more and more widely used in medical and health care. The good operation of the modular operation room can achieve very ideal results. The modular operation room has the following five characteristics:

1. Scientific purification and sterilization, high air cleanliness

Operating rooms generally use air purification devices to filter and disinfect dust particles and bacteria in air. The operation room has less than 2 sedimented bacteria per cubic meter, air cleanliness as high as ISO 5, constant indoor temperature, constant humidity, constant pressure, and 60 times of air changes per hour, which can eliminate surgical infections caused by the surgical environment and improve the quality of surgery.

The air in operation room is purified dozens of times per minute. Constant temperature, constant humidity, constant pressure and noise control are all completed through air purification system. The flow of people and logistics in purified operation room are strictly separated. The operation room has a special dirt channel to eliminate all external sources. Sexual contamination, which prevents bacteria and dust from contaminating the operation room to the greatest extent.

2. The infection rate of positive pressure airflow is almost zero

The operation room is installed directly above operation bed through a filter. The airflow is blown vertically, and the return air outlets are located at four corners of the wall to ensure that the operating table is clean and up to standard. A pendant-type negative pressure suction system is also installed on the top of the operation room to suck the air exhaled by the doctor out of the tower to further ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the operation room. The positive pressure airflow in the operating room is 23-25Pa. Prevent external contamination from entering. Bringing the infection rate to almost zero. This avoids the high and low temperature of traditional operation room, which often interferes with medical staff, and successfully avoids the occurrence of intraoperative infections.

3. Provides comfortable airflow

Air sampling in operation room is set at 3 points on the inner, middle and outer diagonals. The inner and outer points are located 1m away from the wall and under air outlet. For intraoperative air sampling, 4 corners of the operating bed are selected, 30cm away from operation bed. Regularly check the functional status of the system and detect air cleanliness index in operation room to provide comfortable air flow. The indoor temperature can be adjusted between 15-25°C and the humidity can be adjusted between 50-65%.

4. Low bacterial count and low anesthetic gas concentration

The operation room air purification system is equipped with filters of different levels at 4 corners of the operation room walls, purification units, ceilings, corridors, fresh air fans and exhaust fans, and they are regularly cleaned, repaired, and replaced to strictly ensure indoor air quality. Keep bacterial count and anesthetic gas concentration low in operation room.

5. Design gives bacteria nowhere to hide

The operation room uses fully seamless imported plastic floors and stainless steel walls. All indoor corners are designed with a curved structure. There is no 90° corner in operation room, giving bacteria nowhere to hide and avoiding endless dead corners. Moreover, there is no need to use physical or chemical methods for disinfection, which saves labor and prevents the entry of external contamination.
