THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN VARIOUS TYEPS OF CLEAN ROOM APPLICATION

Nowadays, most clean room application, especially those used in electronics industry, have strict requirements for constant temperature and constant humidity. They not only have strict requirements for the temperature and humidity in clean room, but also have strict requirements for the fluctuation range of temperature and relative humidity. Therefore, corresponding measures must be taken in air treatment of purification air-conditioning systems, such as cooling and dehumidification in summer (because the outdoor air in summer is high temperature and high humidity), heating and humidification in winter (because the outdoor air in winter is cold and dry) , low indoor humidity will generate static electricity, which is fatal to the production of electronic products). Therefore, more and more companies have higher and higher demands for dust free clean room.

Clean room engineering is suitable for more and more fields, such as: electronic semiconductors, medical equipment, food and beverages, cosmetics, biopharmaceuticals, hospital medicine, precision manufacturing, injection molding and coating, printing and packaging, daily chemicals, new materials, etc.

However, clean room engineering is used in the fields of electronics, pharmaceuticals, food and biology. Clean room systems in different industries are also different. However, the clean room systems in these industries can be used in other industries. The clean room systems in electronic industries can be used in injection molding workshops, production workshops, etc. Let’s take a look at the differences between clean room projects in these four major fields.

1. Electronic clean room

The cleanliness of an electronic industry has a very direct impact on the quality of electronic products. An air supply system is usually used, and a filter unit is used to purify the air layer by layer. The degree of purification of each location in clean room is graded, and each area is to achieve the specified cleanliness level.

2. Pharmaceutical clean room

Usually, cleanliness, CFU and GMP certification are used as standards. It is necessary to ensure indoor cleanliness and no cross-contamination. After the project is qualified, the Food and Drug Administration will conduct health monitoring and static acceptance before drug production can begin.

3. Food clean room

It is usually used in food processing, food packaging material production, etc. Microorganisms can be found everywhere in air. Foods such as milk and cakes can easily deteriorate. Food aseptic workshops use clean room equipment to store food at low temperatures and sterilize it at high temperatures. Microorganisms in air are eliminated, allowing the nutrition and taste of the food to be retained.

4. Biological laboratory clean room

The project needs to be implemented in accordance with the relevant regulations and standards formulated by our country. Safety isolation suits and independent oxygen supply systems are used as basic clean room equipment. A negative pressure secondary barrier system is used to ensure the safety of staff. All waste liquids must be unified with purification treatment.
