WHAT FACTORS WILL AFFECT CLEAN ROOM CONSTRUCTION TIME?

Dust Free Clean Room
Clean Room Construction

The dust free clean room construction time depends on other relevant factors such as project scope, cleanliness level, and construction requirements. Without these factors, it is difficult to provide a very accurate construction time. In addition, construction time is influenced by weather, area size, Part A's requirements, workshop production products or industries, material supply, construction difficulty, and the cooperation mode between Part A and Part B. Based on our construction experience, it takes at least 3-4 months to build a slightly larger dust free clean room, which is the result of not encountering various problems during construction period. So, how long does it take to complete the decoration of a conventional sized dust free clean room?

For example, building a 300 square meter ISO 8 clean room without temperature and humidity requirements would take approximately 25 days to complete suspended ceilings, partitions, air conditioning, air ducts, and flooring work, including final complete acceptance. It is not difficult to see from here that the construction of a dust free clean room is quite time-consuming and labor-intensive. If the construction area is relatively large and constant temperature and humidity are also required, the construction of a dust free clean room will take even longer.

1. Area size

In terms of area size, if with strict cleanliness level and temperature and humidity requirements, the constant temperature and humidity air handling units would be required. Generally, the supply cycle of constant temperature and humidity air handling units are longer than that of ordinary equipment, and the construction cycle is correspondingly extended. Unless it is a large area and the construction time is longer than the production time of the air handling unit, the entire project will be affected by air handling unit.

2. Floor height

If the materials are not reached in time because of weather conditions, the construction period will be affected. The floor height would also affect material delivery. It is inconvenient to carry materials, especially large sandwich panels and air conditioning equipment. Of course, when signing a contract, the floor height and the impact of weather conditions will generally be explained.

3.Cooperation mode between Party A and Party B

Generally, it can be completed within specified time. This includes many factors, such as contract signing time, material entry time, acceptance time, whether to complete each sub project according to the specified time, whether the payment method is on time, whether the discussion is pleasant, and whether both Parts cooperates in a timely manner (drawings, arranging personnel to evacuate the site in a timely manner during construction, etc.). There is generally no problem with signing a contract at this point.

Therefore, the main focus is on the first point, the second and third points are special cases, and it is really difficult to estimate the specific time without any requirements, cleanliness levels, or area size. After signing the contract, the clean room engineering company will provide Part A with a construction schedule that is clearly written on it.
