Electric sliding door maintenance

1. Basic maintenance of sliding doors

During long-term use of electric sliding doors, the surface must be cleaned regularly due to the absorption of moisture by dust deposits. When cleaning, the surface dirt must be removed and care must be taken not to damage the surface oxide film or electrophoretic composite film or spray powder, etc.

2. Electric sliding door cleaning

(1). Regularly clean the surface of the sliding door with a soft cloth dipped in water or neutral detergent. Do not use ordinary soap and washing powder, let alone strong acidic cleaners such as scouring powder and toilet detergent.

(2). Do not use sandpaper, wire brushes or other abrasive materials for cleaning. Wash with clean water after cleaning, especially where there are cracks and dirt. You can also use a soft cloth dipped in alcohol to scrub.

3. Protection of tracks

Check whether there is any debris on the track or on the ground. If the wheels are stuck and the electric sliding door is blocked, keep the track clean to prevent foreign matter from entering. If there is debris and dust, use a brush to clean it. Dust accumulated in the groove and on the door sealing strips can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Suck it away.

4. Protection of electric sliding doors

In daily use, it is necessary to remove dust from the components in the control box, wiring boxes and chassis. Check the dust in the switch control box and switch buttons to avoid causing button failure. Prevent gravity from impacting the door. Sharp objects or gravity damage are strictly prohibited. Sliding doors and tracks may cause obstacles; if the door or frame is damaged, please contact the manufacturer or maintenance workers to repair it.
