At present, there are many types of fire alarm detectors produced in China. Commonly used ones include smoke-sensitive, ultraviolet-sensitive, infrared-sensitive, fixed-temperature or differential-temperature, smoke-temperature composite or linear fire detectors. Appropriate automatic fire detectors can be selected according to the characteristics of different fire formations. However, due to the possibility of false alarms in automatic detectors to varying degrees, manual fire alarm buttons, as a manual alarm measure, can play a role in confirming fires and are also indispensable.

Pharmaceutical clean room should be equipped with centralized fire alarm systems. In order to strengthen management and ensure reliable operation of the system, the centralized alarm controller should be located in a dedicated fire control room or fire duty room; the reliability of the dedicated fire telephone line is related to whether the fire communication command system is flexible and smooth in the event of a fire. Therefore, the fire-fighting telephone network should be wired independently and an independent fire-fighting communication system should be set up. General telephone lines cannot be used to replace the fire-fighting telephone lines.
