WHAT IS CLEAN ROOM TESTING SCOPE?

Clean Room Testing
Clean Room

Clean room testing generally includes dust particle, depositing bacteria, floating bacteria, pressure difference, air change, air velocity, fresh air volume, illumination, noise, temperature, relative humidity, etc.

1. Supply air volume and exhaust air volume: If it is a turbulent flow clean room, it is necessary to measure its supply air volume and exhaust air volume. If it is a unidirectional laminar flow clean room, its air velocity should be measured.

2. Air flow control between areas: In order to prove the correct direction of air flow between areas, that is, from high-level clean areas to low-level clean areas, it is necessary to detect: The pressure difference between each area is correct; The airflow direction at the entrance or openings in walls, floors, etc. is correct, that is, from the high-level clean area to low-level clean areas.

3. Isolation leak detection: This test is to prove that suspended pollutants do not penetrate the building materials to enter clean room.

4. Indoor airflow control: The type of airflow control test should depend on the airflow mode of the clean room - whether it is turbulent or unidirectional flow. If the airflow in the clean room is turbulent, it must be verified that there are no areas in the room with insufficient airflow. If it is unidirectional flow clean room, it must be verified that air velocity and direction of the entire room meet with design requirements.

5. Suspended particle concentration and microbial concentration: If above tests meet the requirements, then measure particle concentration and microbial concentration (if necessary) to verify that they meet with the technical conditions for clean room design.

6. Other tests: In addition to the pollution control tests mentioned above, sometimes one or more of the following tests must also be conducted: temperature, relative humidity, indoor heating and cooling capacity, noise value, illumination, vibration value, etc.
