WHAT MAJORS ARE INVOLVED IN CLEAN ROOM CONSTRUCTION?

Clean room construction is usually carried out in a large space created by the main structure of the civil engineering framework, using decoration materials that meet the requirements, and partition and decoration according to the process requirements to meet various usage of clean rooms.

The pollution control in clean room needs to be jointly completed by HVAC major and auto-control major. If it is a hospital operation room, medical gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide need to be sent to modular clean operation room; If it is a pharmaceutical clean room, it also requires the cooperation of process pipelines and drainage major to send the deionized water and compressed air required for drug production into clean room and discharge the production wastewater from clean room. Special Decoration Major
The special decoration of clean rooms is different from that of civil buildings. Civil architecture emphasizes the visual effects of the decorative environment, as well as the rich and colorful layered sense, European style, Chinese style, etc. The decoration of clean room has extremely strict material requirements: no dust production, no dust accumulation, easy cleaning, corrosion resistance, resistance to disinfectant scrubbing, no or few joints. The decoration process requirements are more strict, emphasizing that wall panel is flat, joints are tight and smooth, and there are no concave or convex shapes. All internal and external corners are made into circular corners with R greater than 50mm; Windows should be flush with wall and should not have protruding skirting; Lighting fixtures should be installed on ceiling using purification lamps with sealed covers, and installation gap should be sealed; The ground should be made of non dust producing materials as a whole, and should be flat, smooth, anti slip, and anti-static.

HVAC Major
HVAC major is composed of HVAC equipment, air ducts, and valve accessories to control indoor temperature, humidity, cleanliness, air pressure, pressure difference, and indoor air quality parameters.

Auto-control and Electrical Major
Responsible for the installation of clean room lighting power distribution, AHU power distribution, lighting fixtures, switch sockets, and other equipment; Cooperate with the HVAC major to achieve automatic control of parameters such as temperature, humidity, supply air volume, return air volume, exhaust air volume, and indoor pressure difference.

Process Pipeline Major
Various gases and liquids required are sent into clean room as required through pipeline equipment and its accessories. The transmission and distribution pipelines are mostly made of galvanized steel pipes, stainless steel pipes, and copper pipes. Stainless steel pipes are required for exposed installation in clean rooms. For deionized water pipelines, it is also required to use sanitary grade stainless steel pipes with internal and external polishing.

In summary, clean room construction is a systematic project that involves multiple majors, and requires close cooperation between each major. Any link where problems arise will affect the quality of clean room construction.
